Should you list your rates on your freelance website?

Yes, in most cases. Show each service, what it includes and its starting rate in a table, with a contact button underneath, so the inquiries you get already fit your budget.

In most cases, yes. When people can see what you offer, what each service includes and roughly where it starts, the clients who get in touch already fit, and you answer far fewer “how much would it be” messages. A Data Table with one row per service, followed by an Action Button, does the job.

Decide how to state your rates

  • For work priced per piece, give the starting rate for one, such as one page designed or one document translated.
  • For work priced by time, give the hourly or per-session rate and name the unit.
  • If the scope varies too much to quote, leave the cost out, write “quoted per project” and list what you need to know first.
  • For every service, say what is included and what is not, such as how many rounds of changes and how soon you deliver.

Three or four services read best. If you offer more, show the ones people ask about most and mention the rest in a line below.

Build the table

  1. In the editor, choose Add card, open the Content tab and choose Data Table.
  2. Rename the column headings to Service, Includes and From. Choose Add a column if you need another.
  3. Put each service on its own row, and choose Add a row for the next one.
  4. To add detail under a service, start a new line in the same cell. The second line shows in small type.

Add a button under it

  1. Choose Add card, open the Content tab and choose Action Button.
  2. Under Button text, write what you want people to do, such as Ask about my availability.
  3. Under Primary button link, paste where that happens: your email or LINE link, or a link to your contact card.
  4. To offer a second way, fill in Second button text and Second button link under Second button beside it (optional).

Help people decide to ask

  • Add a Testimonials card with two or three things past clients said, with their permission.
  • Add an FAQ Accordion card for what every client asks: how you invoice, how many revisions, what a rush job costs.
  • Finish with a Direct Contact card, so there is always a way to reach you.

Questions

Will people only look at the lowest number?

Some will, which is why each row should say what is included. A starting rate with a clear scope lets people judge their own budget, and most of those who still get in touch are a good fit.

What if my rates change?

Edit the cell, then choose Publish changes in Page settings and publishing. The address stays the same, so the QR code on your business card and the link in your bio keep working.
