How to add Uber Eats, DoorDash and foodpanda buttons to your website

Use one Action Button card with two buttons side by side, each linking to your store on a delivery app, so customers can order in one tap.

Add an Action Button card, link the main button to your store on one delivery app, and link the second button to your store on another. Both apps then sit side by side on one card, and on a phone with the app installed, a tap usually opens your store right inside the app.

  • On a phone: open your store in the delivery app, such as Uber Eats, DoorDash or foodpanda, and use its share option to copy the link.
  • On a computer: search for your store on the delivery app’s website, open your store, and copy the address from the address bar.

Paste each link into your phone’s browser once before you use it. Check that it opens your store, not another branch with the same name.

2. Add the button card

  1. In the editor, choose Add card, open the Content tab and choose Action Button.
  2. Under Button text, write the action in plain words, such as Order on Uber Eats.
  3. Under Primary button link, paste the link to your store on that app.
  4. Under Second button text, write the second action, such as Order on DoorDash.
  5. Under Second button link, paste the link to your store on the second app.
  6. Tick Open in a new tab, so customers can come back to your page to check your hours or message you after ordering.

If you are on only one delivery app, leave the second button empty and the card shows a single button.

3. Make the two buttons easy to tell apart

  • Name the app in each button’s text. Customers look for the app they already use, so the name is what they scan for.
  • To make one app stand out, choose Outline under Second button style. The main button then stays the boldest one on the page.
  • Under Container style, choose Card. The buttons sit in a white card, apart from your photos and text.
  • Under Icon, choose Link, which tells customers the button takes them off your page.

4. Decide where the buttons go

  • Mostly delivery: drag the button card to the top of the page, so nobody has to scroll to order.
  • Mostly dine-in or takeaway: place it after your menu photos, so people order once they know what they want.
  • Taking phone orders for pickup as well: keep a Direct Contact card right under the buttons with your phone number. Customers who do not use any delivery app can still order from you by phone.

5. Publish and test

  1. In Page settings and publishing, choose Publish, or Publish changes if the page is already live.
  2. Open your page on a phone and tap each button once. Check that both open your store.

Questions

Do I need to update my page when my menu changes on the app?

No. The buttons link to your store on each app, so the menu and whether you are taking orders always come from the app itself. Come back to the card only if your store’s link changes.

Can I list three or more delivery apps?

An Action Button card holds two buttons. Add a second Action Button card for a third app, and place it right under the first. Keep the app most of your customers use on the first card, so it is the one they see first.
