Get found in search

Set the page title, page description and share preview image, add search engine verification tags, and count visits with tracking codes.

When you finish, previews of shared links use the title, description and image you chose, you can verify the page in search engine tools, and tracking codes count your visits.

Only published pages are listed in the PressaGen sitemap (/sitemap.xml). To everyone else, search engines included, a draft is Page not found.

Page title

  1. In the editor, open Page settings and publishing.
  2. In the page details near the top of the panel, choose the current page name.
  3. Type the new name and press Enter.

The name you save here becomes both the page name and the page title. The page title is the title in the browser tab and on shared links, and the title search engines read. A page created from the dashboard is titled with the name you typed. A page saved from Templates starts with the template’s built-in sample title in English (the panel shows the template’s name), so change it soon after you create the page.

Page description

  1. In Page settings and publishing, find Page description, just below the page name.
  2. Describe the page in a sentence or two, up to 160 characters.

Search results and link previews may show the page description under the page title. When it is blank, the page uses its opening text instead, taken from the first hero, text or profile card. A new page starts with an empty description; a page saved from Templates does not keep the template’s sample description either.

Share preview image

The share preview image is the picture shown when someone shares your page address. When you have not chosen one, the hero image, the first image on the page or the platform default is used.

  1. In Page settings and publishing, find Share preview image under Marketing and tracking.
  2. Under Pick an image from this page, choose an image.

To use an image that is not on the page, paste its address starting with https:// under Or paste an image URL and choose Apply. The recommended size is 1200 × 630 pixels. To go back to the automatic choice, choose Use automatic.

Search engine verification tags

  1. Under Marketing and tracking, find Domain verification.
  2. Paste the code from the verification tool into the matching field: Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools or Meta domain verification. The content value alone or the whole meta tag both work.
  3. Check that the field shows Valid format, added once the page is published.
  4. Publish the page, then finish the verification in the tool.

Verification tags appear only on published pages. When you add a URL prefix property in Google Search Console, the hint under its field shows the address to enter.

Tracking codes

  1. Under Marketing and tracking, find Tracking codes.
  2. Paste each ID into its field:
    • Google Analytics 4 measurement ID: starts with G-.
    • Google Ads conversion ID: starts with AW-.
    • Meta Pixel ID: a string of digits.
    • LINE Tag ID: the Tag ID from LINE Ads Manager.
    • Google Tag Manager container ID: starts with GTM-.
  3. Check that the field shows Valid format, the page loads this tag.

An ID in the wrong format stays in its field, but the page does not load it. Third-party tags may set cookies; tell your visitors as the law requires.

Google Tag Manager only takes effect on a custom domain; for safety, it is not loaded while the page opens on a pressagen.com address. The other four tags load on both.
