My images
Use an image you uploaded again, see which pages show each one, and delete the ones no page uses to get their room back.
Every image you upload stays with your account, so you can put it on another page without uploading it again. My images on your dashboard lists them all, shows which pages use each one, and lets you delete the ones no page uses.
Use an image again
- Select the card on the canvas. Its settings open in a panel.
- Where you would upload a picture, choose My images. On an image card, the hero, a profile card and the background photo it sits between Upload and From a link; on a gallery and the hero’s portrait it sits next to Upload. A reviewer’s photo, and Site icon and Share preview image in Page settings and publishing, have a My images button.
- Choose a picture. In a gallery you can choose several: they are numbered in the order you choose them, and Add puts them at the end of the gallery.
Your images are listed newest first, each with its size and, where it was recorded, its width and height in pixels, so a small picture is not taken for a large one. Pictures this page already shows are marked On this page. More load as you scroll down.
My images on your dashboard
Near the bottom of your dashboard, just above Your account, open My images. A line and a bar at the top show how much of your room for images is used: 100 MB, or 1 GB with Pro. Below them, every image you uploaded is listed newest first, with:
- its size, and its width and height in pixels where they were recorded;
- the page you were editing when you uploaded it, after Uploaded to, or No page when it does not belong to one of your pages;
- Used on and the names of the pages that show it, when any page does.
When your images fill 90% of a 100 MB room, a line under the bar says that Pro has 1 GB. See The Pro plan.
Delete an image
- In My images, find an image that no page uses.
- Choose Delete under it.
- Check the size in the dialog, then choose Delete again, or Cancel to keep the image.
Deleting cannot be undone. The image leaves the list and its room comes back at once.
Delete is turned off for an image a page still uses, and Used on names those pages. A page uses an image while the page itself, its unpublished changes or one of its last 10 published versions shows it. So an image you take off a page can be deleted once none of those 10 versions shows it any more, or once you delete the page. If a page starts using the image after you open the list, for example in another tab, the deletion is refused and the image then shows the pages that use it.
After you delete an image, copies already held by Cloudflare’s network or by a visitor’s browser may still be shown to anyone with the image’s address for up to a year. The Privacy Policy says what is kept and for how long.
