Developer tool landing page template with install commands

A one-page template for CLI tools and developer products: the problem, six features, a commands table, plans, an FAQ and a QR code to docs.

The demo page of this template

Who it is for

For products built for engineers, such as command-line tools, open source projects, packages and developer services, where readers want to know quickly what it fixes, how to install it and which commands matter. The demo is a made-up tool that finds flaky tests: a one-line intro, the problem, a few numbers, six features, a commands table, plans and questions.

Change the tool name and the subheadline first, saying what it saves an engineer. Rewrite the six feature cards, turn the table into the install command and the few you use most, and point the QR code at your docs. Say in the release notes description how often you write and that it is only about changes.

A product for whole teams that needs more customer proof fits the Weftline template better. If you have not launched yet, start from the Horizon Launch template.

Common questions

How long can a command in the table be?

The table suits one command and one line of explanation per row. Put long configuration in your docs and link to it.

Do phone visitors see the QR code?

No. On a phone the card shows only its button, since a phone cannot scan its own screen. The code is for people reading on a computer.
