Online course landing page template with countdown and FAQ

A one-page template for cohort-based courses: the outcome up top, an enrolment countdown, the modules, student quotes, options and an FAQ.

The demo page of this template

Who it is for

For instructors who run a course in cohorts, with a date when enrolment closes, and students who want to know what they will be able to do, how the course runs and what it involves. The demo is a made-up web development course, from the countdown and three modules to student quotes, enrolment options and questions.

Rewrite the headline first as the result a student gets, not the course name. Set the countdown to this cohort’s closing date, change the three feature cards to your modules, and keep the three questions you hear most, such as what students need to know already. The sample chapter form at the bottom keeps in touch with people who are not ready yet.

A self-paced course people can join any day needs no countdown. If you only want to offer a guide in return for an email address, the Counter Notes template is more direct.

Common questions

What happens when the countdown ends?

The card shows the line you wrote under When it reaches zero, such as a note that this cohort has started and where to wait for the next. Write it before you open enrolment.

Can I keep the sample student quotes?

No. The students and their words are made up. Replace them with quotes your students agreed to share, or delete the card for your first cohort.
