Replace paper business cards and menus with a QR code
Put your contact details, opening hours and menu photos on one page, then print the page's QR code on business cards, table stands or stickers.
When you finish, customers scan the QR code on your business card, table stand or sticker with their phone and open your page, with your contact details, opening hours and menu. When something changes, you update the page; the printed QR code stays the same.
1. Add your contact details
- In the editor, choose Add card, open the Features tab and choose Direct Contact.
- Fill in the channels you use, such as phone and LINE.
See Share your page for how to fill in each field.
2. Add your opening hours
- Choose Add card and, in the Features tab, choose Opening Hours.
- Set your weekly hours.
See Business hours card.
3. Add your menu photos
- Choose Add card, open the Media tab and choose Image & Portrait.
- A new card starts with a sample photo. In the card’s settings, switch to the local upload tab.
- Point at the preview image, choose the replace photo button that appears, and pick your menu photo.
- Under Image Fit Mode, choose Contain Full so the whole menu shows.
- Under Grid Size, choose Full Width.
Photo limits:
- JPG, PNG or WebP only, up to 15 MB.
- When you upload, the browser usually shrinks the photo to fit within 1200 pixels wide and 1920 pixels tall, so very small text may become hard to read.
- A photo still larger than 5 MB after shrinking cannot be uploaded.
- The image card has no tap-to-enlarge view.
If your menu is long or its text is small, split it into several photos, each in its own image card.
4. Publish and download the QR code
- In Page settings and publishing, choose Publish.
- In the same panel, choose Printable QR code near the bottom.
- Choose Download QR code (PNG).
The QR code holds your page address, https://pressagen.com/@your-address. It never uses your custom domain.
5. Before you print
- Scan the QR code on your screen with your phone to check that it opens your page.
- Choose your page address before you print. If you change it later, printed QR codes keep working for 30 days and then lead to Page not found, and an address can be changed only once every 7 days.
- Keep the page published. If it becomes a draft again, anyone who scans the code only sees Page not found.
Show a QR code on your page
A QR code card lets people who view your page on a computer, or on a big screen at an event, scan it with their phone and open a link there, for example to add you on LINE or to sign up.
- Choose Add card and, in the Features tab, choose QR Code.
- Leave Link empty and the code opens this page. You can also enter an address that starts with http, https, mailto or tel, or a LINE add-friend link.
- On a phone, the card shows only its button, without the code or the caption, because a phone cannot scan its own screen. The button says Open link unless you write your own words under Phone button text. With Link left empty, the card is hidden on phones, since a phone is already on the page.
This card does not make payment codes. For a payment QR code, put the image your bank provides in an image card.
