Hi, I'm Sânziana Vlaicu

I study the bats that winter in the caves of the Apuseni Mountains, west of Cluj-Napoca. With a small field group at Someș University I count them, ring them and record their calls, and once a month I write it up in my field notes. Each year I take one doctoral student.
