A night market by the Nam Khan

Every first Saturday from 17:00, about forty stalls of food and handmade things fill a lane along the river. The night market on the old town's main street is a different one.

Want a stall?

Stalls are free for local cooks and makers. Ask Vilayvanh on WhatsApp first, then fill in the stall form and we'll keep you a place in the lane.

Before you come

Does it go ahead in the rain?

Yes. Most stalls have a roof, so the market opens in the rain too.

Can I pay by card?

Most stalls take cash in kip, and a few take QR payments. None take cards.

Can I bring children?

Yes. There are no cars in the lane.
