Wood-fired sauna stoves you can try for a night
We weld three stoves in Tallinn. Book a Thursday evening in the sauna out back and fire one yourself.
Three stoves
The smallest, for saunas up to 8 cubic metres: a cabin by the water with room for two or three.
For saunas of 8 to 14 cubic metres, with room for five or six on the benches.
For saunas of 14 to 20 cubic metres. It is the one in our trial sauna.

From a night to your own sauna
Fire a stove in our sauna on a Thursday evening.
Send us your sauna's size and chimney; we quote in euros.
We build your stove in the workshop.
We bring it and fit it to your chimney.

Why try first
The smoke saunas of Võromaa are on UNESCO's list of intangible heritage. Ours are simpler: a steel stove, a wooden room and a bucket of water. Our stoves heat the room to eighty degrees within an hour, and you should feel that before you choose one.
7 Söetegija Street, Tallinn
In the yard behind the workshop; on Thursdays, follow the smoke.
Margus Tõnisson
Stove maker
I weld every stove we sell in our Tallinn workshop. We fire the sauna out back every Thursday, because a stove is easier to choose once you've sat beside it.
Good to know
What do I bring to a trial night?
A towel, slippers and something to drink. The form asks your name, how many of you, which week and how to reach you. We bring the wood and show you how to feed the stove.
Can I try a stove when it's freezing outside?
Yes. We fire the trial sauna every Thursday evening of the year, below zero too.
How long does a stove take?
About six weeks from your quote. We weld each one to order and fit it ourselves.
Email us or call; we answer within a working day.
